Purpose:
To analyze your modem. Run 32bit Modem Tester, copy the resulting modem
log and paste the modem log information into an email message. Experts
will evaluate your modem log and email the results back to you.

How to:
 o Create a directory called modem32 and Unzip 32bm.zip into the modem32
   directory. The unzipped file will be modem32.EXE and modem32.txt.
 o Create a shortcut to modem32.EXE
 o Run modem32.EXE [32bit Modem Tester], select the port that your modem
   is on, click [Fax Test Select Modem]. If you do not know what COM-Port
   your modem is on, click on [Fax Test All Modems].
 o When the testing is done click on [Edit], [Copy All of Log]. Load
   your email program, start a message to
   http://www.electrasoft.com/email.htm, click on [Edit], [Paste]. For the
   subject put [32bit Modem Tester Results]. Do not attach the file to the
   email, but rather make it a part of the email.
 o Please let me know if there is any way to improve this program?

Description:

Commands:

[Edit] pulldown

[Copy All of Log] pulldown selection
Copy the current [Log of Modem Commands and Responses] into the Windows
clipboard, for pasting into other Windows editors.

[Copy Selected Text in Log] pulldown selection
Same as above, but only copies highlighted text.

[Help] pulldown

[About] pulldown selection
Tells you about 32bit Modem Tester.

[Help] pulldown selection
Brings up the help system.

[Exit] pulldown
Exit 32bit Modem Tester.

[Select Modem]
[Combo dropdown list]
Select a Modem for testing.

Type in and Send Command to Modem
[Edit box]
Type in a string that you want to send to the selected modem.

[Send] button
Send above string to the selected modem.

[Fax Test Select Modem] button
Test the selected modem for fax and other capabilities.

[Fax Test All Modems] button
Same as above, but tests all modems found on COM1 - COM4.

[Find All Modems] button
Determines what if anything is on COM1 - COM4.

[Abort Event] button
Abort the current event.

[Log of Modem Commands and Responses] window
Log the current event. You can copy from this window, but you can not
make changes to it.

[Modem???.txt] text file
Log the current event.
